SUGGESTIONS FOR THE BEST PORTRAIT EVER

GROOMING YOUR ANIMAL

A clean shiny coat photographs the best. Plan on washing your dog or horse as close to the day of the sitting as possible or even on the day itself.

If your dog tends to get bushy, a bath the day before may be better. If you have a breed of dog that visits the groomer, try to schedule his appointment a week before the sitting to allow the coat to get used to the trim. It is the same with horses; clip a week ahead to allow any "divots" to even out.

Bring your animal's favorite treat or toy. A little bribery goes a long way.
